Kennedy Grace Blog Hop featuring Kennedy Grace Sequins

 https://www.scrappingforless.com/store/c1/Featured_Products.html
Hello Scrapping for Less Friends,

We are bringing to you today our new feature of the month...We are featuring Kennedy Grace Creations this month and her fabulous and beautiful sequin mixes. The Design Team is going to share today and all month the things they love, some brand new Newton's Nook items, and Kennedy Grace Sequins! So sit back, relax, and hop along with us for some beautiful inspirations using these fabulous products!

Hi guys! So glad you are here! So, I love cats, however due to a very dear friend of mine having severe allergies to them alas, I cannot have one join my home. (I am keeping the front porch available for any takers though.) Although I cannot have indoor cats I can have all the Newton's Nook images of Newton I can get my hands on! My new favorite is "Newton's Happy Mail"
The beautiful sequins from Kennedy Grace Creations is what I chose my paper around and I sure do love those colors! The sequin mix that I am using is "Blue Lagoon". (Even the name is pretty.)

I used my Copic Sketch Markers to color the image, the paper is from Bo Bunny "Family Is" collection, I also used my Clear Spectrum Noir Sparkle Marker on the paw. The sentiment was stamped with VersaMark and I used fine detail white embossing powder from my stash to emboss it.

This is the inside of the card and the ink used to stamp the image was VersaFine's Majestic Blue. The original intention was to do a second generation stamp on the inside but forgot to stamp it off first. I don't think it will be a problem I will just write around the image. :)
Thanks so much for stopping by and if you are hopping along with us your next stop is Stacy from Craft-A-holic Momma! Enjoy!

2016 Holidy Series #13

Hello! We made it! Today is  the final post of this year's Holiday Series!

Here it is the last card of the series with this fun image from Avery Elle which I colored with my Copic Markers. I colored the bulbs on the tree with Smooch colors and heat embossed the sentiment with red embossing powder. I also covered the car windows with Glossy Accents to give it a more realistic look. I used an EK Success punch to get the label that I put the sentiment on I thought the white background kept the sentiment from getting lost among the trees on the paper.

Fresh an Renewed is a great place for more inspiration so if you are looking for more cards that is a good blog to check out.

Scrapping For Less is my favorite store, there are two parts to this store 1. the FaceBook Group where we can all order just released items, and 2. the website scrappingforless.com where the inventory is already in from the suppliers and is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and purchases ship next business day.

Both are great and I shop at both, often grabbing something I couldn't make my mind up about before the pre-order or something that I wished I had gotten more of like sequins, or stickers, etc. Definitely give them a look because the prices, the quality of the items and the customer service cannot be beat!

Thank you so much for joining me on this little journey, I wish you a Merry Christmas, a Happy Hanukkah, Happy Kwanzaa, whatever Holiday you find yourself celebrating this year I hope you are surrounded by friends and/or family and mostly love.

See you next year!!!

Wishing you sunshine and smiles,
Kim :)

2016 Holiday Series #5

Here's card #5! The background paper I used here was from my stash so I'm not sure the name of the collection. This little image is "Snowflake Garland Marci" from La La Land Crafts. The snowflakes in the corners are made with a Martha Stewart snowflake punch. I used Copic Sketch Markers to color the image.
I carried the snowflakes on to the inside to give the card a more complete feeling. This card is a great Christmas card for a friend but is also versatile to use for winter cards as well.

If you are looking for some inspiration or just some pretty pictures of really cute cards check out Fresh and Renewed my friend, Teresa has some beautiful cards on her blog!

Looking for some great prices on any of the product types I've used in this series so far head on over to scrappingforless.com.

Thank you so much for spending a little time with me and please feel free to leave a comment!

Wishing you sunshine and smiles,
Kim :)

Scrapbook Blessings Club Monthly Challenge: April

Hi! Today I am entering a challenge from Scrapbook Blessings Club for April. This type of challenge is a great way to give your creativity a direction especially if you find yourself a little stumped for what to do next. The challenges I have been participating in have truly made an impact on how often I am creating. Sometimes with too many choices I get overwhelmed and then don't do anything but with the help of the challenges I have some direction. I love that the challenge for this month is to make a card or a layout with a BIRTHDAY THEME, you can never have too many birthday cards!
Supplies:
  • image is C.C. Designs "Birthday Twila"
  • the background paper is Birthday Extravaganza with Glitter from The Paper Studio
  • sequins are from my stash
  • ribbon is from my stash (which I have had for over three years now-gasp!)
  • colored image with Copic Sketch markers
  • used Wink of Stella in clear to add some sparkle
  • used Glossy Accents on her shoes
  • used Signo White Pen to create the polka dots on her bows and dress

This challenge has a bit of a twist as they aren't asking you to link it up to their blog but add it to their FaceBook group which I think is a great idea and a fun way to let friends and family possibly see your creation as well if you choose to share it with them. The challenge doesn't end until the end of the month so you have plenty of time to play along, so go get your creativity on!!! You can click on Scrapbook Blessings Club and you will be taken to their FaceBook group to enter.

Thank you so much for joining me today and I invite you to come back whenever you can!

Wishing you sunshine and smiles,
Kim :)
