Get your Gina Marie Dies!

https://www.scrappingforless.com/

Hello our Crafty Friends,  Lots is happening and going on this month over at Scrapping for Less! We debuted ALTENEW last weekend! Didn't you just love all the creations? I sure am one blessed woman to have such a talented design team. I absolutely loved everyone's projects. There are lots of Altenew items you can purchase...ranging from some holiday (Christmas) sets to florals to line images! Head on over and check them out!

Not only are we showcasing Altenew...we are also showcasing Gina Marie Designs dies...love, love her dies! So all month you will be seeing these types of items. I also challenged my Design Team to try and use Christmas pattern papers in a non-holiday way so they will be sharing those along with their projects as well. So, today we thought we would have another hop and share some projects with you...don't forget to leave a comment on each blog. Each DT member will have a Gina Marie die to give away and then enter the Rafflecopter on the SFL blog because there will be a larger prize for one of you. Thanks so much for joining us today!
Die that I'm giving away for this hop!

Hi!
Thanks so much for stopping by! Here is a birthday card that I created using my Gina Marie Designs dies, I love her dies, they are a great price, gorgeous and so easy to use.  So here is what I used for making this card:

So after I cut out the background die I glued it down with Tombow Mono liquid glue and used my clear Spectrum Noir Sparkle Marker to color in the flower portions of the die cuts. After I cut out the words and the butterfly I used Spectrum Noir Markers to add color and sparkle and then glued them down with my Zig glue pen. I love how it turned it out it is so sparkly! I look forward to giving it to my friend for their birthday.

Thanks so much for stopping by! You're next stop is Stacy at Craft-A-holic Momma.
Happy hopping! :)

Here is the line-up for you:

Valentine's Day Card Series 2017 Begins!

Hi ya!

Valentines are so much fun to make! I love cute and when making Valentine's Day cards there is no reason to dial down the cuteness. I have mentioned before on this blog that I tend to make cards just to make them because I enjoy it not because I necessarily have anyone to send them to. That being said this go round I have a purpose for these cards and I am so excited to send them on where they will hopefully put a smile on someone's face.

A YouTuber I follow is Christy Gets Crafty and while I was watching the first several of her Valentine's Card Series for this year she announced The "Cards From the Heart Card Drive" which is ran by her friend Winter Sims, I am including the link so that if you are interested in participating.

So here is the run down for card #1:
I feel like there should be more because I think it's such a sweet little card but it really was a simple card to make but uber cute! I have included links to scrappingforless.com where you can find similar items.

Thanks so much for stopping by and if you can I hope you participate in the card drive.

Wishing you sunshine and smiles,
Kim :)

Altenew Blog Hop

Scrapping for Less is so excited to bring another fabulous new company to the website. This time we are introducing Altenew! This is a small stamp company that is on the move! They are known for their beautiful layering stamps. The Design Team has quite an array of various creations to share with you today. You can find the Altenew stamps here in the stamp category! While you are at the website make sure you sign up for the newsletter (you won't be sorry, I promise!) and also while there browse around in the store we have lots of goodies you can purchase.

Make sure to leave a comment on each blog for a chance to win a blog prize from our store! Thanks so much for taking the time to hop with us today.

Hi ya!

What better way to kick off 2017 here on Sunshine, Smiles and Cards than with a blog hop! Altenew is a stamping company with some of the most beautiful stamp sets I have ever seen and the stamps have inspired me so much to want to play with my embossing powders, inks, coloring etc.

When I laid eyes on this stamp set I got so excited because my mind was flooded with ideas! I am going to give you the run down of what I did for the two cards that I made.

Altenew "Big World" Stamp Set & Die

So here's the run down of the products I used:
  • Altenew "Big World" Stamp & Die (the globe on the black card I cut the images out with the die)
  • Embossing powders Pearl Gold on the white card/ Jeweled Gold on the black card
  • VersaFine black ink on white card for sentiment
  • Stamp Perfect Tool from Hero Arts which I LOVE! I was able to get the globe and the sentiments exactly where I want them and since I have been using it for a while now I have noticed that I have more confidence when I am creating with my stamps.
As you can see there were not many products used but I just love how they turned out, the pictures don't really do them just they are so sparkly and shiny! Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you get the chance to get your own Altenew stamps and dies they are so much fun to create with. Your next stop is Stacy: Craft-A-holic Momma

Wishing you sunshine and smiles,
Kim :)
